Open your browser and visit your clouds’ URL which is sent to you via email (about 10 minutes after signup). The URL looks like https://yoururlslug.owncloud.online.
Enter your login credentials and press Enter.

The ownCloud Online Desktop Client synchronizes your workstation automatically with your cloud storage. Your files are always up-to-date and synced across all your devices.

Open the downloaded installer. The Wizard will guide you through the installation process.

After the successful installation the client will open up automatically.

To connect to your cloud you need to insert your cloud url which was sent to you via email at signup. The url should look like https://yoururlslug.owncloud.online

Insert only the first part of your url.

The login credentials for the admin user are sent via email at signup.

To add more users or change your password please see the user management in the webinterface.

You can either sync your whole cloud folder or select subfolders in the case you don’t need everything synced to your local computer.

Below you can select the local folder on your computer which will be synced to the server.

After the connection was successfully established the client starts synchronizing your local folder with the server.

You can close this window now.

The cloud icon in your tray bar indicates that the client runs in the background.

To be able to store files locally on your phone or tablet ownCloud.online needs the permission to your access your local folders. Click Allow to proceed.
